We welcome volunteers from the community to take part in our outdoor ministries including: restoring our forest, maintaining our prairie, volunteering at our Monarch Fest, helping in our community garden and food forest.

Volunteers can assist with shopping or allow family caregivers the opportunity to take care of necessary errands, exercise, or simply have some time alone.

There are several groups of community volunteers who guide, manage, and make things happen in our organization.

Whether you’re shopping from our wish list or preparing snack or activity bags for our families, you’ll be helping relieve the burdens of families who are far from home and facing incredible challenges. Check out our website for the latest needs.

Volunteers help lead tours, present nature education programs on-site or off-site with students, help with administration, office, and computer projects, write grants for additional financial support, learn land restoration techniques, or maintain trails, gardens, bridges, and bird feeders.
