CAA welcomes volunteers with a variety of backgrounds, talents, interests and skill levels. Our needs may vary depending on the season, but we will make every attempt to find an opportunity best suited for you. Opportunities include events and CAA Programs.

Technology skills, distributing and posting flyers throughout the community, outreach and recruitment for CIWC events and functions, bookkeeping or accounting experience, and canvassing and survey skills.

Volunteer needs include Spanish translation and interpretation skills (French is a plus as well).

No matter what your skill set – whether you desire hands-on activities with our pets, prefer to provide clerical support, or want to assist with our events and education programs in the community – there is a place for you.

The American Sign Museum has opportunities for volunteers. The small staff often needs assistance; from providing tours to pulling weeds. Professional skills are always welcome. If you have an idea as to how you may want to get involved, let us know!

Individuals or groups can serve by sorting donations, organizing a fundraiser, or setting up a drop off location.

Individuals, companies, or groups can help donate supplies such as new clothing, laundry/hygiene products, or office supplies. Donation drives are a great way to collect these items.

Companies and individuals can provide skilled services such as web design, printing services, or legal counsel.

Volunteers help their local chapter host events for the community, take an active role in creating safer space in their local community, make positive change, and connect local geek activists to local and national causes.

There are all manner of opportunities to help, from museum operations and maintenance, publications and communications, education and tours, etc. If you are interested in contributing your talents to help the Museum take it’s place as a historic force for preserving and communicating our World War II aviation legacy, let us know!
