Volunteers are needed for various events throughout the year for our FARE Program. Programs include Backyard Gardens, Community Gardens at Lincoln Hill, Mobile Food Pantry, Gardening and Nutrition Classes.

Responsible for helping and supporting classroom teachers. Volunteer would be needed daily for the duration of a camp session (5 days).

Responsible for preparing and cleaning up after breakfast and lunch for entire camp. Does not need to set menu. Camp sessions are 5 days and we would love for volunteers to be available for most or all of a session.

Responsible for greeting families and signing students in each morning, registering walk-ins, and collecting attendance. Camp session are 5 days and we would love if volunteers are available for most or all of a session.

Responsible for teaching topic and Bible lesson to a class of 10-15 students. Curriculum is provided and personal touches/tweaks are encouraged. Each classroom teacher will have at least one adult assistant. Volunteer would be needed daily for the duration of a camp session (5 days).

BTM is sponsoring the restoration of a most worthy ( one of 4000 ) MG-A coupe donated recently by our member Ian Cunningham. BTM wants this car for it’s collection for it’s rarity and for the strong MG clubs and marque following in this area for over 65 years!

Our very active field crews work on habitat restoration including invasive control, planting and seed collection. Other efforts include boardwalk and trail construction, repair, and maintenance. Anyone can be an ambassador for BCWA by promoting our conservation efforts and programs to schools, businesses and the community. We will provide any literature you need. Volunteering at events and fairs such as the Midwest Native Plant Conference is another way to engage the community.
