Help staff the table and answer people’s questions about NAMI and the services we offer.
Help with feeding, cleaning, care-taking of the animals. Volunteers must be able to work independently after training, must be dependable/reliable, and have a high level of engagement with our animals.
Call or email the new family and may visit the animals in their new home to make sure the animal and family are happy and adjusting to being together.
Assist in getting the animals to where they need to go. Additional transport opportunities exist to pick up rescued animals from shelters and transport them to one of our veterinarians for examination.
Come help us clean up the garden space, build new beds, and get things prepped for winter. Social distancing will be utilized and masks are required. We do any length of trip from day long trips to week long trips. There is a per person fee for lodging, staffing, and project supplies.
Due to the nature of our special events and holiday programs, we rely on a great number of volunteers to ensure the event/program runs smoothly.
Help with donations, sorting/pick-up, administrative assistance, fundraising, shelter/grounds care, etc.
Work directly with clients including: crisis calls, transportation, shelter and court coverage
Help with childcare needs.
