Be a trusted friend and guide to youth by developing a supportive relationship with them. Help ensure that the mentee develops important academic and life skills.
Accompany survivors of domestic violence as they proceed through the court system. Volunteers are most often utilized to assist with arraignment court, which occurs Monday through Saturday and runs 8:45 – Noon.
Help with processing truck donations, furniture assembly, and warehouse organization.
Assist with ESOL, job readiness and mass transit instruction. Assist with home set up, warehouse support, computer labs, community support and orientation, and World Refugee Day.
Help and assist with adult education classes, student tutoring, summer youth enrichment program, health promotion events, and bilingual case workers. We are also always in the need of drivers and interpreters.
Help create profiles for nonprofits for any of the community-wide nonprofit guides we support by finding the data needed to build the profile. (Basic computer skills & database experience preferred)
Help in our warehouse by wrapping diapers and filling orders.
Monday through Friday 3:00-6:00pm. Our after-school program consists of four major components. We provide snack, homework help, bible lessons and enrichment activities. Volunteers will tutor students and engage in each of the programs activities. (21+)
From carpentry to writing, from sewing to budgeting we love to have our volunteers engage our students in new activities. Contact us and we can plug you in to speak to an appropriate age group from Pre-Kindergarten through High School.
Monday through Friday 2:15-5 for PreK-6th grade students. During this program students receive a snack, homework help, hear a bible lesson and engage in enrichment activities. Volunteers are asked to support the staff while working with their assigned age group.
