Saturdays 10:20-12:30. After enjoying a nutritious breakfast children work one-on-one with volunteers on homework or materials provided by Wesley Chapel Mission Center. Through this program, we are able to support and encourage the work that goes on in school.

Assist shoppers, organize shelves, and provide directions to areas within the library.

Sort, price & shelve books and other materials, also send out membership mailings.

Work with girls in grades 4 & 5 on social emotional skills and academics.

281-CARE is a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, information and referral service. A 40-hour training will be provided along with ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training). Requirements: High School diploma or GED, background check, 5-10 hours per week (hours are flexible) and a three month commitment.

Walk dogs from the adoption kennels. Exercise dogs and teach basic commands and manners.

Coordinate the schedule for the photo team; take photos of adoptable animals; edit photos; submit photos.

Provide excellent customer service; answer phone calls to main shelter number; greet visitors; accept deliveries; clerical tasks as needed.

Cuddle, pet, brush, and play with cats; Promote adoptable cats to visitors by answering questions and giving information about needs and personalities.

The agriculture team manages the community garden, the plant rescue project and the acres of hops. Work is on site seasonally helping with general garden activities, plant propagation, harvesting fresh produce and tending to the hops.
