We build character and promote values for over 700 boys and girls K-8th grades through organized sports. Volunteers help mentor and teach the children of the Friars Club. Envision Children is looking for fun, educated, enthusiastic volunteers to help tutor students of all ages in all subject areas (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, ACT Study Skills, Homework Help, etc.). You will need a current background check.

We need tutors for a variety of disciplines such as English (English for speakers of other languages), basic writing and reading, basic mathematics, computer skills, and college coursework.
Each evening, participants trickle in to play games, work on homework, color, and have a snack before the class begins an organized craft together. As youth develop their creative abilities, they are also acquiring life skills by discovering means of positive self-expression and cooperation with peers.
Students will support preschool (during school day) and the after school program (during the 3-6pm period) by helping children with their homework & reading with them. Students can also develop and administer fun classes for children to help them learn about reading, math etc. (education majors)
Develop personal relationships with guardianship clients through twice a month visits around your schedule. You’ll have constant, ongoing communication with our Guardianship team.
