Volunteers are needed to keep the building looking nice. Opportunities include maintenance, light housekeeping, and gardening.
Photograph Rural Action events and programming; help compile a digital database of striking images for use in multimedia presentations, print publications and marketing tools, and on the web. Special projects, such as photo essays, are encouraged.
Assist in maintaining the grounds at the Kuhre Center for Rural Renewal offices in Trimble Ohio including mowing, weeding and planting flower beds, trimming bushes and general beautification of grounds.
Assist the Development Liaison with office work, including: membership renewals and other mailings, database entry and management, file organization, thank you letters, etc.
Sometimes the children waiting to be adopted or even children that have been adopted in a loving home need additional positive supportive people in their lives. Our adoptive families need additional support from other adoptive parents that have been through the process themselves. If you feel like you can lend an ear or a helping hand to some of our families, this is the program for you!
Midstory encourages submissions of freelance media or written work, creative ideas, series pitches, and much more. For a submission to be considered, it must further the nonprofit mission of Midstory to curate and uplift stories of culture, arts, history, and technology toward the creation of and reflection upon our Midwestern and American identity.
