Come to La Soupe and help in various ways – sorting, cleaning, storing produce, chopping and light food prep, or ladle soupes, smoothies, or applesauce into containers.

Pick up surplus food from our Food Donors (grocers, restaurants, etc.) and deliver it to La Soupe. Or, from La Soupe, deliver to our receiving agencies. Typically this will take an hour of your time.

Help our staff with small group social outings for adults with developmental disabilities. These outings are 2-4 hours each in the community doing life! We attend sporting events, dinner and movie, go bowling, watch plays, volunteer, and many other activities. (You must be 21)

Help provide resources and support to local immigrants and refugees that make them feel welcomed, loved and supported and offer programs to assist them with self sufficiency.

Help greet visitors, bring food for youth, watch performance on final Thursdays.

Fundraising and development opportunities include organizing special events, organizing quick fundraisers, joining The Foundation’s online fundraising efforts, soliciting major gifts, and recruiting other volunteers.

Make calls, write letters and send e-mails to your legislators when there are critical issues that affect healthcare, research and rare diseases. Your voice makes a difference.

We can use your help in producing and distributing news releases, creating posters and flyers, and developing positive relationships with the media in your community.

Provide food for 40+ people for our monthly Volunteer Meetings. (MWH reimburses the cost of foods for these meals to the providing foodie volunteer)

Typical contributions from resource volunteers are donated materials and services.
