Volunteers that help on the day of events can be assigned anything from helping with setting up and tearing down before and after an event, helping with greeting guests at the door and passing out programs, working the raffle or refreshment stations of events, and more.
The Grow2Live Youth Gardening Program teaches children how to grow their own vegetables and gain a sense of confidence and independence.

Volunteers are needed to pack Hope Boxes and Bags of Hope at our office in Ohio or any other state. You can host fundraising events, plan camp events, and join our organization by offering your services.

These presentations encourage a hands-on experience with the contents of each “History In A Box” and encourage interaction with the contents of the boxes, making a connection with the Veterans of those time periods.
Provide Group tours of the Museum
We often need volunteers to help move materials, set up equipment for field trips, guide students between activities, help get life jacket on, or put canoes on the boat trailer. No matter what the task, you will be part of something fun and will be thanked by excited, smiling kids.
Assist in the Book Loft where we collect, sort, price and pack books for the sale. We consider our Book Loft volunteers our “staff” and we seek their input as we have found that collecting the books (and the sale) is always a “work in progress.” We are open for volunteers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays…
