The Head Coach is a volunteer position that works with a team of coaches to facilitate the Girls on the Run curriculum to program participants. This position entails approximately four hours per week for a 10-week commitment. The head coach must be a woman.

This is an opportunity for Kindergarten through 4th grade students to complete homework after school in a quiet, supervised space.

Read a chapter book with a small group of academically advanced 3rd-4th graders over several weeks. Discuss the story or complete a writing project about the book.

Help 3rd grade students prepare for the Ohio State Testing by tutoring small groups, reading passages for comprehension and asking questions similar to those on the test.

Support our teachers and staff by completing office tasks as necessary. This always saves our teachers time and is so appreciated!

One-on-one engagement with a student who is struggling academically. Work to complete activities created by the teacher from their “classroom bucket.”

After teachers finish making their selections, volunteers are needed to assist in bagging the teacher’s supplies.

Help where it all begins! Greet and assist clothing donors, expediting clothing from vehicles. Some lifting may be required. Sort and select items that represent the best quality for clients and customers.

Have a hidden penchant for fashion? Assist customers with selections; close the sale and package items. Replenish stock and freshen displays.
