Volunteering needs vary by region and facility, but could include: Escorting patients and visitors, Transporting patients, Veteran’s visitation, and/or Performing or playing music.

Attend monthly board meetings; Help out with special events; Help out with fundraising as needed; Pray & guide/be an encourager to the Executive Director

Meet quarterly to be part of a visionary team for future goals of Sycamore House; Meet with board twice a year to advise the board for future endeavors and to give advice from an outside perspective to improve the mission of Sycamore House.

Encourage/counsel/pray with clients; Go over homework/lesson with clients; Be able to watch kids during video session

When Sycamore House has events going on throughout the year, Banquet, Open House, etc.k Work the event whether to help plan, work, set-up teardown, etc.

Send prayer requests/praises to staff, volunteers, & donors; Pray daily, write/send encouraging notes; Pray with staff & volunteers how often feel led to & possibly lead a devotional/public scripture of reading at Sycamore House

Volunteer to spend quality time with a Pause kiddo over Zoom! Pick an activity with your assigned child and we will order/ship the supplies to both of you. Your main job? Have FUN! Our volunteers have created crafts, solved puzzles and played board/online games together. The opportunities are endless!

Help the Pause team provide fun experiences for families. Volunteer opportunities include family check-in, food server, take home pack distribution, and more!

Are you into having fun? So many opportunities at our Parent’s Night Out events. Hang out with a cool kid, lead or support a small group of kids, help out with our food team, join the welcome team, OR be an activity station leader! It’s up to you!
