Help by sharing your story of healing with others and having it published, encourage others by sharing how you have dealt with the loss of your loved one and the hope you have found in your healing.

Facilitate support groups and/or programs, including preparing support group materials, assisting facilitators before, during, or after groups, etc. Training is provided by COJ Professionals. We focus on group dynamics and the various types of Grief. (1 year+ committment)

You can make a difference in someone’s life by simply being present. You’ll provide support and companionship to patients and families by giving caregivers a short break.

You’ll work on an ongoing committee to learn, evaluate and suggest and develop ways to improve our tours and education outreach programs.

Volunteers can assist The Counseling Center planning and executing fundraisers.

Volunteers can assist The Counseling Center as an intern or providing community outreach assistance.

Work one-on-one with a special needs child during the week of camp.

Assist in construction of and improvements to facilities, assist in maintenance of equipment, assist in development of public relations content (web site, flyers, etc.).

Training volunteers. This includes studying the training material, disseminating the material to volunteers in a “public forum” format, and ensuring the volunteers understand the material.

Move equipment and supplies to and from events and working during an event.
