Wilson Health Hospice volunteers offer help to terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers visit patients, offer respite to caregivers, provide transportation, offer help with light housekeeping or meal preparation and assist staff with clerical duties and fundraising projects.

Students who are interested in the medical fields have the opportunity to find out more about the hospital world and career opportunities as well as volunteer in clinical and non-clinical areas through Wilson’s Student Volunteer program.

The Wilson Auxiliary operates the hospital’s gift shop and organizes fundraising events throughout the year with proceeds benefiting our patients through new equipment purchases. The volunteers also work as greeters, deliver mail and flowers, offer clerical support and help in clinical departments.

Opportunities include helping at the food pantry, clothing closet, and special events.
