Remotely Preparing Students w/Disabilites for Graduation

Even though Covid-19 has pushed school classes online and closed school buildings, LEAP is continuing to provide its youth transition program for students with disabilities.  This program prepares them for independent living and employment upon graduation.

By providing this program remotely, we are able to help bring some daily consistency and normalcy to students with disabilities.  In addition, they continue to learn key life skills that are crucial for success after high school.

Our specialists are working with students with disabilities telephonically or utilizing online conference tools.  With these technologies they can attend IEP meetings, connect students with needed resources, and start planning for the future.
