Volunteers plan, implement and assure a positive experience during social engagement events/activities for people living with memory loss and their care partners.

Community representatives raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Association programs, provide basic disease information, and link consumers to Alzheimer’s Association services.

Assist either in the office or remotely to help new volunteers complete their online applications. You can help a volunteer get started on their volunteer career with the Red Cross. (4 hrs/week, computer skills preferred)

Help in many ways, such as fundraising, grant writing, special events, public relations, marketing, or social media management.

Help with the intake and processing of new guests. (computer skills required). (Evenings are Thursdays ONLY 5:00 pm-9:00 pm) (Weekends are Saturdays ONLY 8:00 am- 2:00 pm)

Provide group instruction in areas such as ESOL or high school equivalency preparation. The curriculum is provided for each class. (Evenings are Thursdays ONLY 5:00 pm-9:00 pm) (Weekends are Saturdays ONLY 8:00 am- 2:00 pm)

Work with children, ages 5-10, either one-on-one or in small groups of 2-3 children to improve their literacy skills.

Contribute expertise, such as administrative or marketing experience.

Work at info tables and booths, and hang out with adoptable animals
