The arrival of COVID-19 has caused us to reschedule and reevaluate, but it has also renewed our commitment to the families we serve. Although the traditional channels through which we serve children and families are temporarily halted, our commitment to them remains.
In light of the new directives and with the safety of the children and families as our main priority, we are pausing our book distribution efforts until the situation is better contained. The Little Free Library organization has encouraged Little Free Library stewards to practice best practice when operating a little free library during this time. Once this situation improves, we plan to resume our efforts to get books out to the children and families throughout our community.
