How you helpVolunteer tutor with a child or an adult, hold a book drive to collect gentle used books or volunteer at our location to sorts books! It will amaze you the difference a little of your time can make in one person's life.
About usThe Queen City Book Bank the community through the following activities: QCBB Signature Book Distribution: a curated book distribution program which provided K-6th grade students with 10 free, new books per year. Children tutoring program: Recruitment, training, and placement of volunteers in schools to work one-on-one with K-4th grade students. Adult tutoring program: Recruitment, training, and placement of volunteer with adult student who are struggling with the foundation of reading. Little Free Libraries: QCBB receives thousands of gently used books each year and the Little Free Libraries are the perfect conduit to get books into the hands of the children and families who need them most. Community Outreach and Public Awareness: Creates public awareness of literacy issues through partnerships, media, events, and the publication of its quarterly newsletter.
